Local marketing business, Barton Creative Co., is partnering with the Kawartha Lakes Arts Council to offer a Social Media for Cultural Business workshop on February 12th from 7 to 8:30 pm at the Bobcaygeon Municipal Building located at 123 East St. S in Bobcaygeon.
The workshop aims to help attendees unlock the power of social media to build brand awareness and grow a loyal online following. The presentation will cover topics including:

How to Choose the Right Platform for your Brand
Facebook and Instagram Best Practices
Why Your Brand Needs a Website and Email Marketing
There will also be a question and answer period with refreshments to follow.
Attendees will take home a social media cheat sheet with helpful post prompts, a list of top creative hashtags, and a fancy pen that can be used to take notes during the presentation.
The workshop is being presented by Robyn Barton, the Co-founder of Barton Creative Co. With a formal graphic design education and over a decade of graphic design, branding, and marketing experience, Robyn now partners with her sister-in-law, Megan, to design winning marketing solutions for businesses and cultural organizations throughout the Kawarthas including KLAC, Colborne Street Gallery, The Lindsay Advocate, and The Kawartha Art Gallery.
