On behalf of the businesses of Fenelon Falls we want to say hello to everyone; whether you are a cottager, seasonal resident, or a local who has been staying safe at home, welcome back! We are so very happy you are here.
It has been so long since we last got together and there is so much we should catch up on. Let’s be honest, these past few months have not been easy but now we can look forward to kicking back with a cold drink, and enjoying what is set to be a beautiful summer. There’s no better place to do so than Fenelon Falls, where we have taken advantage of a little extra time to make this summer extra special. Our shops, eateries and services are here for you as you welcome family and friends to enjoy some lake time.
The dedicated volunteers from the Fenelon Falls Horticultural Society have been working hard to beautify our town and make it enticing to get outside. A walk from the beach to the falls bursts with colour and the lovely smells of freshly blooming flowers. Go for a ride down the Victoria Rail Trail on a BikeShare bicycle and discover the shores of Cameron Lake and beyond. Grab a fishing rod and spend an afternoon seeing if you can provoke a nibble or even a bite. Cool off with a swim or splash at Garnet Graham Beach Park. Hit the links at one of our gorgeous golf courses or head for a tennis match at the local tennis club.
All this activity calls for some energy and your favourite restaurants, as well as some new offerings, are open with fresh summer menus. Grab a bite for takeout and relax by Lock 34 while the boats float by or enjoy the view from the patio.
After lunch take a trip downtown to explore our unique shops for some can’t miss deals. Our businesses have worked hard to offer a safe, in-store shopping experience or the option to shop online from the comfort of your home or cottage. We have a variety of maps, brochures, and summer activities to help make the most of summer.
Thank you for taking precautions over these past few months but we miss you so much and we’re ready for a visit, even if it is from six feet or two metres apart. There’s no better spot to enjoy the summer and we’ll make sure you’re well fed and taken care of. We hope to see you soon!
