Kawartha Co-op: The Future of Community Events Public Surveys
Submitted by Maddy Warlow
We are pleased to announce that we have filled all of our Summer Student positions here at the Kawartha Co-op, adding Christopher Robson on as our Data Analyst. With his skills and expertise, we are announcing the release of our survey series: The Future of Community Events.
Are you a regular event attendee? Do you work with a team to organize events? Do you give your time and volunteer for your community? Or do you enjoy donating to help support local event initiatives? We want to hear from you!
The purpose of the KWCC is to improve the City of Kawartha Lakes by enabling unique initiatives to thrive and improve the social infrastructure of our communities. This past summer has looked very different for everyone. We have not seen the usual event-filled, hustle and bustle we are all used to. We are here to learn, support, and grow from these unusual times by gaining valuable insight into our community and its thoughts on future events.
We have put together some short surveys to help determine how to move forward with community events during these troubling times. You can find them on our website, under “Community Surveys” here: https://kawarthacoop.ca/community-surveys/.
Please complete any and all surveys that may apply to you as a resident in the City of Kawartha Lakes, and beyond. Please circulate the website link around to your fellow community members, event-goers, donors, attendees and organizers.
Your community thanks you for your input. These surveys will guide us in the right direction for future events to prove the resiliency and strength of our wonderful community during these unprecedented times.
