Kawartha Lakes News | Textile Reuse and Recycling Now Available

Kawartha Lakes - The municipality has partnered with Talize Inc./Recycling Rewards to create a textile reuse and recycling pilot program. Residents can now drop off textile items at any our five landfill sites. 

Textile materials are free to drop off but must be placed inside clear bags. Items that are stained or ripped are allowed. Waste Management is currently looking into details on curbside collection so please stay tuned for more information in the coming months.
