Colborne Street Reconstruction Update
The construction in Downtown Fenelon Falls is well underway, and we know, it isn't the prettiest or most convenient scenario at the moment. With that said, the end results are going to be beautiful and functional, giving the downtown a well deserved facelift.
Some items to look forward to:
The new design will improve pedestrian traffic flow and safety.
The project will include full Road Reconstruction and Streetscape Improvements.
Design will improve underground infrastructure, vehicular traffic flow, and queuing at intersections.
An area that is to contain street furniture, trees and other fixed objects, meant to provide a buffer between pedestrian and vehicular traffic.

The design also includes Curb Bump Outs which increase pedestrian space at the intersection, are effective traffic calming measures, and protect parked vehicles.
