From the Rotary Club of Fenelon Falls

The Rotary Club of Fenelon Falls has completed the annual Classic Car Draw for 2020 - 21. After a successful year of selling tickets on the 1969 Plymouth Road Runner Convertible, and selling out of tickets in May, the draw took place at the Fenelon Falls Community Centre on June 1st.

Sharon Chambers of the Rotary Club of Lindsay drew the winning ticket #40883 which had been bought by Allan Fehrenbach of Havelock, ON.

Allan was called and was excited about the news that he was the winner. Allan wanted to know when it would be posted to the Rotary Car Draw website so he could ask his sister to check to see who had won the car.

On 11 June 2021 Allan Fehrenbach and his father Mark came to Fenelon Falls to pick up the Road Runner.

The Rotary Club of Fenelon Falls has now received the license to start the next Classic car Draw for 2021-22 for a 1971 Plymouth GTX 440. This car was restored in Virginia, USA in 2007 and was purchased and brought to Lindsay. The car has been stored and looked after extremely well and shows like the restoration was very recent.

Tickets will be available at The Wee Quilt Shoppe and George Wilson Motors in Fenelon Falls, at Lindsay Dodge, and John's Quality Auto on McLaughlin Road Lindsay, and at Easton's Classic Cars on Mt Hope St. Lindsay. Tickets are available online at the website www.rotarycardraw.com, or by sending an email to rkjohnson15@gmail.com or to joe.willems@sympatico.ca.

The Rotary Club of Fenelon Falls would like to thank everyone who assisted to make this draw a success.
