Fenelon Falls Horticultural Society: An Update on the April 25th Meeting

The Fenelon Falls Horticultural society will be having its first in-person meeting since November 2019 next Monday evening, April 25th, at the Senior Citizens Club of Fenelon Falls (58 Murray Street). The topic will be “Ideas For Growing Vegetables”, presented by Liz and Nick Case.

Although masking is not a “requirement”, it will be appreciated. Everyone entering the Seniors Club building must be fully vaccinated. Both members and guests are asked to use the sanitizer provided at the door. Chairs will be positioned at a safe distance from each other. As mentioned in last week’s Town Crier, we will not be serving refreshments at this meeting but you are welcome to bring your own.

Unfortunately, due to family illness, the “Hort Report” skit will not be happening on Monday, but will be presented at a future meeting.

If you are not yet a Member of the Fenelon Falls Horticultural Society, please join us for our meeting to check things out! Meetings are free for members (Membership is $20 per year) and there is a $5.00 charge for Guests.

The FFHS will also have a booth at the Country Living Show this coming weekend, where you can see photos of the many gardens we care for in Fenelon Falls. There will also be flyers and information about our club. If you are attending the Country Living Show, please stop by our booth to say “Hello!” and chat with current members.

We hope to see you Monday evening at our meeting!
