Get Ready to Vote in the Upcoming Municipal Election
The Kawartha Lakes City Council and School Board Trustee elections are fast approaching and staff are busy putting in place supports for residents to have a smooth voting experience. All eligible voters have a role to play in ensuring a quick and easy voting process and there are a number of resources available.
The first step to a strong voter turnout is to have the most up-to-date and accurate Voters’ List. Residents can confirm whether they are on the list to vote and that their information is accurate by visiting www.VoterLookup.ca. Those on the list will receive a Voting PIN Letter in September.
When verifying if you are on the Voters’ List at www.VoterLookup.ca, please select Kawartha Lakes as your municipality. The system may not recognize your mailing address community name.
The municipality is also hosting three Voter Information Sessions throughout August and September. The first will be available in-person or virtually using Zoom and the remaining two are in-person only:

August 31 from 1-3pm: Coboconk Community Centre at 9 Grandy Road, Coboconk
September 14 from 6-8pm: Coronation Hall at 1 King Street West, Omemee
