Kawartha Lakes Recruiting Full Time, Part Time and Seasonal Workers

Kawartha Lakes will be taking part in a job fair hosted by VCCS Employment Services on Tuesday August 30, 2022.

With summer wrapping up and the fall and winter season right around the corner, Kawartha Lakes, is looking to recruit seasonal workers for several open positions across the municipality.

The community is invited to join Kawartha Lakes recruiters at VCCS Employment Services, 370 Kent St W. Unit 5 (In Whitney Town Centre), on Tuesday, August 30 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm.

We are looking to fill the following roles:

• Full Time, Year Round and Seasonal Equipment Operators (Snow Plow Driver)

• Full Time, Year Round and Seasonal Labourers

• Full Time, Seasonal Parks and Recreation workers for fall and winter

• Part Time, Year Round Arena Maintenance workers

The Full Time Equipment Operators must have a valid DZ license, and their starting wage will be $23.01. The Full Time Labourers must have a valid G license, and their starting wage will be $19.58. The Parks and Recreation positions start at $18.55. The Arena Maintenance positions start at $18.86.

Candidates will be assessed for related experience, equipment and operation skills. There may also be opportunities for additional training and skill development provided.
