A Sunday Morning of Herping: An Outing Guided by Dr. Josh Feltham

Greetings from the Kawartha Field Naturalists!

This October our club presents 'A Sunday Morning of Herping: An outing guided by Dr. Josh Feltham'. Herping describes the act of searching out amphibians and reptiles, and who better to guide this search than amphibian expert and Fleming College professor Dr. Josh Feltham. During this outing we will seek out overwintering green frog and bullfrog tadpoles while also keeping an eye out for juvenile and adult salamanders.

Join us for this fun and educational outing on Sunday October 16th, at 9am at the Cation Wildlife Preserve in Coboconk (187 French Settlement Rd). We plan to 'herp' in rain or shine, waterproof footwear is recommended. Hiking poles are also suggested as some parts of the trail can be bumpy.

This event is open and free to all interested in attending. We hope to see you there!
