BGC Kawarthas Youth Awards Accepting Nominations

Do you know someone young here in Kawartha Lakes who works hard, has passion and wants to do well for their local community? Then nominate them for an award at the BGC Kawarthas Youth Awards!

You can nominate them for up to two awards in various categories, including art, sportsmanship, work ethic, and so much more! If they are a finalist, their story will be shared widely, and will be invited, along with their friends and family, to the Youth Awards ceremony where all will be celebrated. There will be games, food, live music and more!

These awards are open to all youth in Kawartha Lakes from Ages 11-24. All nominees must have strong ties to Kawartha Lakes. Individuals and groups/classes may be nominated. You can nominate them for up to two different awards.

They are also offering two scholarships, the Ron Kennedy Scholarship, for a youth going to postsecondary education in the next 12 months, and the Marcie Beall scholarship, for anyone between the ages of 17-24 who will use it to further their educational or career advancement.
