Celebrate Earth Week 2026 in Kawartha Lakes
Kawartha Lakes – Taking care of the environment is important to everyone in Kawartha Lakes. Protecting our lakes and rivers, using resources wisely, and reducing waste are things we can all do to help.
Earth Week is from April 19 to 25, and Earth Day is on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. This year’s theme is “Our Power, Our Planet”. It reminds us that protecting the environment isn’t just about governments, it’s about what we all do every day, whether at school, at home, or in our community.
