Celebrate Yourself and Connect with Fellow Women in Business at this International Women’s Day Event in Fenelon Falls

International Women's Day is a time to pause and reflect on the strength and power of women worldwide. It also serves as a time for women to acknowledge and celebrate their own hard work and accomplishments.

In honour of International Women's Day, the Fenelon Falls & District Chamber of Commerce presents "She Means Business," an event to support and celebrate women in business. This event will be hosted on Friday, March 27th, at the Fenelon Falls Seniors’ Centre. It will be a night to rest, renew, and remind oneself about one's resilience with the help of keynote speaker Lana Starchuck.

This event is the perfect opportunity to meet and network with fellow business leaders in the community.

Attendees will hear from Lana Starchuck, a resilience strategist, author, and skydiver. Women in business carry a lot of responsibility, and the weight of it can be crushing at times. When the work becomes overwhelming, it often leads to stress and burnout. In her interactive keynote presentation, Lana will address these struggles, drawing on her own life experiences to help guests reframe fear, build confidence, and see failure as information and a source of growth. As a skydiver, Starchuck knows that when a parachute fails, panic serves no one. Slowing down to speed up, knowing how to pivot vs panic, and acting with authenticity are key. Crisis reveals courage and confidence lets us respond with clarity.

Confidence to ask for support and offer it to others
Language to support difficult conversations
Clear strategies to strengthen trust between clients and employees
