Healthy Aging Workshop: Optimizing Health

On Thursday, November 13 from 9:30 to 2:15, the Fenelon Falls Seniors’ Club (FFSC) is offering Optimizing Health, the second in the 2025/26 series of three Healthy Aging workshops. This event is a great way to learn about strategies and supports to optimize your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health as you age.

Topics include:

  • Mental health services for seniors

  • Approaches to pain management

  • Hearing health

  • Health benefits of acupuncture, and meditation

  • Naturopathic medicine: supports for healthy aging

Exhibitors from 9 organizations will also be available.  Yoga movement break, refreshments and catered lunch are included.  

The workshop will be held at the Fenelon Falls Seniors’ Centre (58 Murray St, Fenelon Falls). 

Cost is $5 for FFSC members; $10 for all others.

Additionally, Sip Serenity Coffee Chat: Meditation Basics with Glenda will be offered on Thursday, Nov 20 10 am – 12 pm.  Fenelon Falls Seniors’ Centre (58 Murray St, Fenelon Falls). 

Come and learn meditation tips and techniques that can help you feel calmer, be more patient, and that will help you deal with every day stress a little more easily. You’ll learn how and why it works, ways to establish a meditation practice and what will work for you. And no - you will not need to sit cross-legged on the floor!
