Murphy’s Lockside Pub & Patio has established itself as a haven for live music enthusiasts. For years, David Evans has hosted the monthly open mic on the first Thursday, fostering a vibrant environment. This event showcases an array of musical talent, drawing in both seasoned performers and fresh new voices. The Cow & Sow Eatery has become a cornerstone for Kawartha Lakes entertainment, celebrated for its vibrant pinball scene, lively parties, and dynamic open mic nights. Hosting the only female-led open mic in the area, Shannon Roszell captivates audiences with her commanding vocals and sharp humor. Known for its warm and inclusive atmosphere, this open mic is a great opportunity for performers and listeners to come together and enjoy live music. Fenelon Falls Brewing Co. sets the stage for upbeat Friday evenings with its house band, Boots. Performing weekly, Boots not only delivers standout performances but also opens the floor to local talent, providing an opportunity for artists to showcase original songs or beloved covers. Whether they’re backed by the band or performing solo, these musicians bring their unique sounds to the Brewery’s cozy atmosphere. The Locker at The Falls: Known for supporting the live local music scene, The Locker at the Falls regularly features Saturday night music acts and monthly open mics on Fridays—stay tuned for the next announcement.

Ziraldo’s Italian Steakhouse: Actively supporting local live music, Ziraldo’s features talented regional artists, including Diane Williamson and Rob Barg, during evening dining on Fridays and Saturdays. The schedule is subject to change seasonally.

Fenelon Falls Royal Canadian Legion (Branch 238): The Legion regularly hosts “Pub Nights” with local bands and musicians like The Harry Peterson Band, The Barn Kats, Dobson Street BNB, and Parker House Blvd Band. Many of these events also include dinner options, making them a hit among locals.

The Grove Theatre: Located in the Fenelon Fairgrounds, this outdoor amphitheater has become a cultural landmark. Hosting professional theater productions, concerts, and community events, The Grove attracts internationally renowned artists, including top-selling and Juno-nominated performers, including Fenelon sweetheart, Julian Taylor. With seating for 300, it offers an unforgettable experience amidst nature, cementing Fenelon Falls’ status as a cultural destination.

Fenelon Falls United Church: The Fenelon Falls United Church hosts weekly jam sessions every Friday from 7 to 9 PM, offering a warm and inviting space for musicians and music enthusiasts to connect and share their love for music. The church also features regular music gatherings as part of its Sunday morning services, continuing its tradition of fostering community through song.
