Meet the 2025 Honourary Santa Day Parade Marshall

Carol Cole (Milroy) grew up in Toronto but spent every summer at her family cottage on Cameron Lake. She and her husband Larry—married 60 years with three children—continued that tradition and now live full-time on the same property. Two of their adult children and their grandchildren also live, work, and volunteer in Fenelon Falls.

A dedicated community volunteer, Carol serves on the Santa Day Board and is always willing to help. In the summer, she can be found serving tea at the Maryboro Lodge Museum or tending community gardens that supply fresh produce to the local food bank. She supports Pride events as a PFLAG contact, fundraises with Grannies for Grannies in Africa, and has served on the Fenelon Falls Horticultural Society board. She also leads the community garden program with youth at Langton Public School.

Believing strongly in the power of young people, Carol involves youth in community projects whenever possible. Most recently, she helped the Kawartha Works Community Co-op form a partnership with the Boys & Girls Club, creating a much-needed after-school program in Fenelon Falls.

Carol is committed to ensuring everyone has a voice and works tirelessly to make Fenelon Falls an even better place to live, cottage, and visit.
