Announcing: TELUS Health MyCare
On behalf of the Community Foundation of Kawartha Lakes (CFKL) and the Community Fund of Fenelon Fall (CFFF), I am pleased to announce a collaboration with TELUS Health MyCare to promote community awareness of opportunities to access virtual health care and thereby improve overall health and well-being. This project will help residents without access to a family doctor as well as those who wish to seek after-hours medical care.
FENELON ARTS COMMITTEE SCULPTURE PROJECT THE FENELON FALLS RAIN GARDEN
The Fenelon Falls Rain Garden will soon feature two life-sized bronze canoe paddle figures participating in a portage thanks to the Fenelon Arts Committee (FAC) who successfully raised the funds needed for the project. The figures will create a dynamic procession through the park, a homage to the location’s history; a portage and gathering area of First Nations’ Peoples, the beginning of Fenelon Falls, forestry, logging, and its current use as a recreational park.
Introducing the Fenelon Falls Community Fund
The Community Fund Fenelon Falls (CFFF) was officially launched last month. It was established to build the Fenelon community in new and innovative ways, help people and create meaningful and lasting change. It is an outlet to give back to our local region with unique and specialized tax planning advantages of philanthropy for people thinking about starting or growing their legacy. Ready to get started? Visit fenelongives.ca or email the CFFF info@fenelongives.ca.
