The Grove Theatre in Fenelon Falls Announces 2023 Season

16 productions, including The Comedy of Errors and Million Dollar Quartet in rep, and one-night performances from Jim Cuddy, Measha Brueggergosman-Lee, Bruce McCulloch, Good Lovelies, Séan McCann, Julian Taylor, Elvira Kurt, and more. 

The Grove Theatre has announced today an expanded and exciting programming lineup for its 2023 season. Running from June to September, theatre, comedy, cabaret, and music will grace the stage at The Grove’s world-class amphitheatre, including two mainstage theatre productions The Comedy of Errors and Million Dollar Quartet. MAINSTAGE PRODUCTIONS 

The Comedy of Errors | July 20–Aug 27 2023 (Playing alternating nights.) Written by William Shakespeare. 

Fun and silly for the whole family, The Comedy Of Errors is one of the great slapstick comedies. It will have you laughing out loud. In the same style as last year’s The 39 Steps, The Grove Theatre presents this classic comedy. 

The Comedy of Errors will be directed by Christy Yael and Sean Cox. 

Million Dollar Quartet | July 21–Aug 26 2023 (Playing alternating nights.) With a book by Colin Escott and Floyd Mutrux. 

In 1956 a legendary jam session with Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley took place at Sun Records. Featuring rock and roll’s greatest hits and the legends behind the music, Million Dollar Quartet is the ultimate love letter to rock and roll. Million Dollar Quartet will be directed by Christy Yael and Sean Cox.

SÉAN McCANN “The Shantyman” | June 17 

2023 marks the 30th anniversary of Great Big Sea, one of Canada's favourite bands, and founding member Séan McCann will be celebrating the legend and the legacy right across the country. Singalong with “The Shantyman” as he sails us back in time through hilarious stories and foot-stomping traditional favourites to the brighter bays of his native Newfoundland. This is the only "tribute show" you need to see this decade and a nostalgic tip of the hat to the shared history of a truly iconic Canadian band.
