We had a great time at our Small Business Week

We had a great time at our Small Business Week - Advertising 101 event at the Seniors' Centre. Attendees heard from local media reps from a variety of sectors; digital marketing + design, print, radio, and tv. The panel provided insight from their area of expertise on how to make the most of your advertising dollars, as well as pitfalls to avoid.

We want to thank the panel and media reps for participating; Roderick Benns, Rebekah McCracken, Aliyah Mansur from Fireside Publishing, Mel Hannah - Bell Media (local radio), Robyn Barton - Barton Creative Co. Pam Vanmeer - Kawartha 411 and Mel Shannon - RogersTV.

A big shout out to our volunteer director, Robyn Barton who organized the event. We also want to say a big thank you to everyone who attended. The room was buzzing with great conversations and connections after the panel discussion.

For those who weren't able to attend here is a one pager with some tips to help you evaluate your  advertising strategy. See below for free opportunities with RogersTV.

We look forward to seeing you at our next member event!

Have a great day,
Marylee and the FFDCC Directors
