Staycation in Fenelon Falls

The holidays are coming and many of you may be at a loss for things to do. You are used to flying down south to escape the brisk winter, heading to the city to visit family and enjoy a meal together, or getting together with a boatload of friends on New Year’s Eve. This year does look a lot different, but you are lucky to live in Fenelon Falls where the options for activities and fun are nearly unlimited.

1. HIT THE SLOPES. Sir Sam’s is only an hour and ten minutes away from Fenelon Falls. Pack up your crew and hit the slopes! After you’re done with the cold, check out the Sir Sam’s Inn and Spa for a bite to eat and jumping in the hot and cold pools. A perfect single day outing or make a couple of nights of it.

2. SNOWSHOEING AT EGANRIDGE. You may have been golfing at Eganridge over the summer, but winter season at Eganridge is a whole new world. Located smack dab between Fenelon Falls and Bobcaygeon, Eganridge is home to nearly 4km of Cross Country Ski and Snowshoe trails. If you are staying the night, snowshoes are complimentary.

3. SKIP THE DISHES and grab your Christmas Eve dinner from The Locker at the Falls. No, you may not be gathering with a large group of people this Christmas but that is no reason to not have turkey! You can order a traditional turkey dinner December 24th to dine in or take out for ONLY $16.99.

4. SPA DAY AT SILSPA. Call ahead or book online to pamper yourself. You know you deserve it. Start by grabbing a delicious specialty coffee from SIP from one of their incredible barista’s, and continue on to the spa where you can get yourself done up from head to toe. Literally!

5. BOXING DAY SHOPPING at the Butterfly Boutique. The Butterfly Boutique will be open this entire weekend handing out double stamps on your Passport to Christmas. The amazing boutique is reopening December 28th and is having a WINTER SALE. Follow them on instagram for details @butterflyboutique_. They still have tons of new winter accessories to arrive. Imagine getting boxing day deals on brand new items??? That could happen to you!
