Online Exhibition

Colborne Street Gallery presents Revel. This online exhibition features painting, print, glass work, Inuit art, and textiles. Since opening our doors in 2018, we have partnered with over 100 artists and worked to support the creative economy in Fenelon Falls.

Revel opens our 4th season in downtown Fenelon. This online exhibition is a glimpse into our gallery history. Joan Horsfall Young’s, Cottages launched our programming in 2018. The exhibition featured small oil paintings of cottages and landscapes from Sturgeon Point, Red Rock, and the surrounding region. Following our inaugural show, artists such as Eddie LePage, Karen Richardson, Leanne Baird, Elizabeth Barrett, Paul Chester, James Goodliff, Lucy Manley, and David M. Smith began showing with the gallery after participating in the exhibition,The Land Between

Our exhibition, Exploring Landscapes, was our first textile-based show and a collaboration with the Kawartha Yarn and Fibre Festival. This was also our first Visiting Artist program and student exhibition with a local elementary school. Catharine Somerville rounded out our 2019 programming with her varied oil paintings of nature, flowers, and abstraction.

Our open call exhibition, Trees, brought us work by Jamie Bradbury while our annual A Holiday Art Market, which takes place every November and December, introduced us to the work of Victoria Pearce.

Inuit drawing, print, and sculpture has a constant presence at Colborne Street Gallery. We are proud to bring the work of these incredibly talented artists to our community through Dorset Fine Arts.

We have expanded our print and sculpture selection to add black and white linocut prints by Erin LePage, in addition to glass and wood works by artists Susan Rankin, Paul Gray Diamond, and Frank Didomizio.

Please note the gallery space is temporarily closed due to the current lockdown and our move to a new location at 36 Colborne Street. While the space may be closed, our artists are busy in their studios making work. Browse and shop online here!

The gallery offers extensive shipping options across Canada and internationally, please feel free to reach out anytime.

We will be back as soon as we can. Until then, stay safe art buddies.

Much love Tim, Chris, Darcie + Kevin 🖤
