Fashion Through Time
A fashion show unlike any you have ever attended! Remember Rocky Horror Picture show where the audience threw toast at the screen? Did you attend the Queen’s Silver Jubilee tea and wear a fascinator?
The Fashion Through Time Event, on Oct 22 at the United Church in Fenelon Falls is a little bit like that. The audience is part of the show. Guests are invited to wear “fashion through time” that is meaningful to them.
Have your wedding dress from the 1960s? Wear it! Have your dad’s air force jacket from WW ll? Wear it! Have an original hippy outfit from the 60s? Wear it! Guests will be invited to share the story of their outfit.
The Fenelon Falls Grannies for Grannies will be serving delicious desserts (not dry toast), wearing their own outfits; a 1920s beaded flapper dress, a 1950s rock n roll poodle skirt, a complete Victorian lady’s outfit. Did you know that Victorian ladies wore crotchless panties??!!
