Move over gingerbread, it's Banana Baking Contest Time!

Thanks to Sobeys, many of us were treated to free bananas this past Monday, after the store received 100 extra boxes with their shipment. I don't think most stores would have just given them away so I have to hand it to owner, Sarah Winter, and her team for their generosity.

I for one am a big lover of all thing banana and during the pandemic I watched waaaaay too many cooking competition shows. So, I thought a Fenelon Falls Banana Baking Contest would be a fun way to use those bananas!

Next Tuesday, November 22nd, please drop off your contest entries to the Cow & Sow between 11am and 7pm. Be sure to fill out the entry form. The judging will take place at 7pm that evening. You can of course come and enjoy the Cow & Sow's incredible wing night while you're at it!

Thank you to the Butterfly Boutique and Red Rock Antiques for the prizes, but let's be real, bragging rights are the most important. Winning entries will be shared in the Nov. 25th edition of the Town Crier! All baking that uses bananas are welcome!
