Meet a Board Member: Darcie Kennedy

The 2022 Board of Directors for the Fenelon Falls Chamber of Commerce has been chosen, and we wanted the residents of Fenelon Falls to know more about each member. Today, we feature Darcie Kennedy - co-chair of the Country Living Show!

Darcie Kennedy is the Managing Director of Colborne Street Gallery. The gallery opened its doors in 2018 and is dedicated to the exhibition of contemporary art. Exhibition programming includes local artists, Inuit Artists from Kinngait, Nunavut, as well as other Canadian and international emerging, mid-career, and established artists. She is also the Chair of the Fenelon Arts Committee which recently completed their first initiative The Sculpture Project; an installation of public art in the Rain Garden. Darcie grew up just outside of Fenelon and upon graduating from FFSS completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto and Sheridan College and her graduate studies at the University of Ottawa. She splits her time between her hometown and the Annex in Toronto. She loves her hometown and is grateful to run a space that supports the creative economy in Fenelon.
