Committee of Council Volunteer Opportunities for Kawartha Lakes Residents
Citizen positions on Committees of Council provide Kawartha Lakes residents with an opportunity to volunteer their time in various activities associated with local government. There are openings for three members in two different committees:
Kawartha Lakes Municipal Heritage Committee
Two members for remainder of Term of Council (November 14, 2022)
Committee members identify and protect historic properties that are important to our communities throughout the municipality.
Fenelon Landfill Public Review Committee

Be involved in open dialogue with Councillors and municipal staff about how we can work together to create a healthier environment. Committee members will discuss waste management programs and contribute ideas for the future.
