Mushrooms: The Hidden World Beneath Our Feet

Hello from the Fenelon Falls Horticultural Society!

Even though official “Autumn” has not arrived, the gardens have changed and we have had a few cooler days along with lower nighttime temperatures.

Our next meeting will feature Robert Bowles, who will amaze you with his topic: Mushrooms: The Hidden World Beneath Our Feet. You may be surprised at what goes on underground that you may not have ever realized or even thought about! There is certainly “another world” down there!

Please join us at the Fenelon Falls Senior Citizens Club on September 26th to learn some new vocabulary and some very interesting facts about mushrooms and their relationship to so many above-ground growing things. We hope to see you there!
