2023 Summer Company Program Applications Open until May 31
Kawartha Lakes is now accepting applications for the 2023 Summer Company program.
This program offers an opportunity for students to start and manage their own businesses. Successful applicants will receive a grant of up to $3,000, as well as invaluable training and mentorship from local business leaders.
Small businesses are very important to our regional economy and the Summer Company program supports students in becoming their own boss, helping them get their business ideas off the ground while offering guidance and advice along the way. “We’ve seen a number of impressive start ups through the program over the years and many students have gone on to become full time entrepreneurs,“ said Sandy Greenberg, Economic Development Officer for Small Business Programs.
Applications will be accepted through the Government of Ontario’s application portal until May 31, 2023.
Anyone with questions about the business plan or application process can contact Sandy Greenberg at the Kawartha Lakes Small Business and Entrepreneurship Centre by emailing sgreenberg@kawarthalakes.ca or by calling 519-371-3232.
