2023 Tourism Ambassadors

The 2023 Tourism season has arrived in Fenelon Falls and so has our Tourism Ambassador Team! This is the 5th year for the summer Tourism Ambassador Program where a team of local students connects with visitors and residents to share information about events, attractions, and local businesses. They also participate in community beautification, social media promotion, and economic development projects. We are pleased to introduce Ashleigh, Lyla, Danielle and Kendra.

Ashleigh is leading the Tourism Ambassador Team in her second year at the Tourism Office and will be returning to Ottawa in the fall to start her third year at Carleton University. Her favorite thing to do in Fenelon Falls is getting out on the water in a kayak. 

Lyla is a high school student at Fenelon Falls Secondary and has lived in Fenelon her whole life. Returning for her second year as a Tourism Ambassador, Lyla enjoys playing volleyball at the beach park and shopping local on Colborne Street. 

Kendra is also a high school student at Fenelon Falls Secondary going into her last year. Kendra is one of our new Tourism Ambassadors for the summer and enjoys getting frozen yogurt in town with her family.

Danielle is high school student at Fenelon Falls Secondary School as well and just finished Grade 11. New to the area, she's learning her favorite things to do but loves going to Sip and the bookstore to browse with friends!
