Beth Woodcock's Osteopathy
A new Osteopathic clinic has opened at 20 May St. In Fenelon Falls. For those of you that don’t know what Osteopathy is, it is a drug-free, non-invasive manual therapy that aims to improve health across all body systems by removing restrictions and strains within the tissue and allowing increased mobility and neurovascular flow. An osteopathic manual practitioner works on all levels of tissue to optimize structure and function and ultimately improve health and well-being.
I have been a therapist in the Durham region for over 26 years. I began as an RMT in 1995 and have been practising Osteopathy since 2010. I am a graduate of the Canadian College of Osteopathy (Toronto campus) and am a member of the Ontario Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners. As a member of the OAO, patients enjoy insurance coverage for treatments and the knowledge their practitioner has the highest level of education and standards of practise in Ontario.
As my husband retired and spent most of the Covid years at the family cottage on Cameron Lake, we decided to sell the home in Durham and move up to Fenelon Falls full-time. As a therapist who enjoys their work passionately, I was not ready to retire and so have moved the clinic to Fenelon Falls and look forward to this new chapter of life.
One of the highlights of my career was receiving the Readers Choice award for both 2020 and 2021 for the Best Osteopathic Clinic in the Oshawa, Durham region. Thank you to all my very dearly missed patients in Durham.
I have been a small business owner for most of my career and won’t have it any other way. I am extremely humbled and rewarded everyday by the relationships built and by attempting to help people feel better, move better, and improve their quality of life. I look forward to being part of this community.
