Bobcaygeon Resident Celebrates His 100th Blood Donation

Bobcaygeon resident Jerry Mous gave his 100th blood donation at the Fenelon Falls Blood Donor Clinic this past Monday, May 11, at the Fenelon Falls Community Centre.

To celebrate this generous deed, he and his wife, Joy Mous, brought in cake to share amongst the other donors at the clinic.

The Fenelon Falls Blood Donor Clinic is run by Canadian Blood Services, a not-for-profit charitable organization responsible for operating the national blood and plasma supply system.

Canadian Blood Services states, “Blood and blood products are a critical part of everyday medical care, including major surgeries, medical procedures, cancer treatments and managing diseases and disorders."

Blood donors, like Jerry, help save lives by ensuring Canadians in need get the required treatment.
