How to Spend the Civic Long Weekend in Fenelon Falls - 2026

It’s finally here - Happy Civic Holiday Long Weekend, Fenelon Falls! This weekend marks the height of summer in Fenelon Falls and celebrates all the summer fun, from classic cars to theatrical performances to live music. There is something for everyone!

Our downtown will be buzzing with visitors from across the province, across the country, and even around the world (we just had visitors from Prague at the Tourism Office!). While we're excited to welcome everyone to Fenelon Falls, it's also the perfect opportunity for locals to enjoy a staycation and rediscover everything that makes our little town the Jewel of the Kawarthas.

Whether it's grabbing a coffee from Waterbridge Chocolate Cafe and hitting the Victoria Rail Trail - a great way to cool off by the shores of Cameron Lake- or maybe you try exploring a local shop you've never visited - have you ever been to Snow n’ Sand? It’s the best place in town to pick up a swimsuit and some early Christmas presents! Perhaps you plan to catch a show at the Grove Theatre for some magic and music under the stars. There are plenty of reasons to slow down and enjoy your own backyard this weekend. Here is some of what is going on:

Fenelon Falls Farmers’ Market – July 31, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Fenelon Falls Annual Car Show & Flea Market – July 31 to August 2 at the Fenelon Fairgrounds

A Wee Tree Farm Long Weekend Market - Aug 1, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Cornhole Competition at the Legion – Aug. 1, 2 p.m.

Glitter Tattoos at Country Cupboard - Aug. 1, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Live music at The Fenelon Falls Brewery – July 31 & Aug 1, 6 p.m.

Painting and Pottery Studio Sale - 17 Fourth Street, Sturgeon Point - Aug. 1 – 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Heritage Day at Maryboro Lodge – Aug. 2, 1 to 4 p.m.

Canadian Music Legends Vol. 2 at the Grove Theatre – Aug. 2 & 3, - 8 p.m.

It is gonna be a busy one, Fenelon Falls! If you're planning to head downtown, consider walking or cycling if you're nearby. If you’re driving, there is free parking at the Beach Park (99 Francis Street), behind Red Apple, and beside Lotus Indian Bistro.

Whether you're spending the weekend relaxing at home, hosting family and friends, or taking advantage of everything happening around town, we hope you take time to enjoy the best of summer right here in Fenelon Falls - and stay safe!

If you’re looking for advice for your visit or want to enjoy some of our amenities and activities, swing by the Tourism Office! We’re open all weekend from 10 am to 4 pm. And as always, thank you for supporting local ❤️
