Meet Fenelon Falls’ 2026 Tourism Ambassador Team!

Every great visitor experience starts with a warm welcome. As another exciting summer season gets underway, we're thrilled to introduce the friendly faces you'll see from our Tourism Ambassador Team at the Fenelon Falls & District Chamber of Commerce! Each summer, our team hits the streets to welcome visitors, answer questions, share local recommendations, help maintain our downtown and help visitors discover what makes our community so special. Meet Alexis, Stella, Chantal, and Ashleigh! 

Alexis and Stella are your official 2026 Tourism Ambassadors (TAs). You will see them at the Tourism Office and around town visiting businesses and providing tourism information to visitors of our little community. Alexis is a third-year student at the University of Guelph. While Alexis isn’t originally from Fenelon Falls, she has been living here for a bit over a year now. She was part of our Tourism Ambassador team last year and thinks it was such a rewarding experience that she decided to come back to continue growing her community here in Fenelon! We asked Alexis why she finds Fenelon Falls to be special… “because it cultivates such a rich cultural diversity through the summer months. Regardless of where people are travelling from, the community here in Fenelon is incredibly welcoming and supportive.” Our other TA, Stella, is going into her final year at Fenelon Falls Secondary School. She’s lived in Fenelon her entire life and is excited to share her favourite local activities and hidden gems with visitors. This is Stella’s first year as a Tourism Ambassador. When asked why she wanted to apply for the position, she shared, “I saw it as a chance to better my community. As a Tourism Ambassador, you work hard to help others and the community by supporting events, picking up trash, and promoting local businesses”. 

Chantal is the Downtown Revitalization Activation Coordinator. She has been working at the Chamber since last May. You may even recognize her from her time as a Tourism Ambassador back in 2019 and 2021! Chantal enjoys working at the Chamber because she loves showcasing her beautiful hometown through her social media content and meeting new people at the Tourism Office.

Ashleigh has returned to the Chamber for her third summer as a Tourism Development Officer and is leading the Tourism Ambassador Team. Ashleigh is also very familiar with the TA role as she was the sole Tourism Ambassador back in 2020! Ashleigh grew up outside of town and has always had a passion for community enhancement and loves the community feeling of living in Fenelon Falls.

We have a great team here at the Tourism Office this summer; they are ready and eager to help Fenelon Falls and all who visit. Stop by our Office at 15 Oak Street and say hi! We’ll be ready to chat and answer any questions you may have about Fenelon Falls.
