The Grove Theatre is proud to announce its summer 2026 line-up and fifth season. The mainstage play for the season is Spamalot, the irreverent musical comedy inspired by Monty Python and the Holy Grail. The season also features Same Time, Next Year, one of the most celebrated romantic comedies of the past century, Canadian Music Legends Volume 2 -back by popular demand and a 70’s Dance Party, a high-energy tribute to the decade of disco, rock, and glam with hits from the Bee Gees, ABBA, Fleetwood Mac, KISS, Journey, Queen, and more. Additionally, the Canadian Guest Artist Series will showcase an exceptional lineup of award-winning performers, iconic voices, and celebrated talent from across the country.
Spamalot reimagines the legend of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table with unforgettable songs, absurd humour, and eccentric characters. Same Time, Next Year traces the decades-long relationship between Doris and George, from the popular Broadway play, which was adapted into the beloved 1978 film.
“We’re incredibly excited about this year’s programming and the enthusiastic response to the theatre we created just five years ago,” says Sean Cox, Artistic Director of The Grove Theatre. “From acclaimed productions like Spamalot and Same Time, Next Year, to celebrating renowned artists from across Canada, our small-town Ontario stage highlights the strength of our company and the importance of supporting Canadian talent and the arts. The Grove was built to provide a meaningful space for artists and offer audiences world-class performances in an intimate, unforgettable setting.”
