Pharmasave 75th Anniversary
Located on Colborne street in downtown Fenelon Falls is a piece of local history with a legacy that continues to be passed down through generations. Fenelon Falls Pharmasave originally opened in 1949 with the ownership changing hands only a few times since then and is now celebrating its 75th birthday. The current owner of 21 years looks at his job as being more than just the owner of a business. He sees himself as the current “caretaker of the store” and wants to foster the continued growth of this historic Fenelon Falls institution.
Fenelon Falls Pharmasave carries with it a very interesting origin story. The first proprietors of the Minden and Fenelon Falls pharmacies were the Colborne brothers. Each brother owned a pharmacy and so it is not only one, but two, celebrating a milestone birthday.
The goal of Fenelon Falls Pharmasave is to be a community first business, offering personalized service to customers who are locals, family members, neighbours and also friends. Pharmasave is not just looking to run a successful business but consider it a privilege to look after and support the community; locals and visitors alike.
On Tuesday, June 18th, the Fenelon Falls Pharmasave is inviting the public to join them for a 75th birthday celebration. The event runs from 11:00am-3:00pm where they will have a free BBQ, cake and 75% off of select items.
