Register For The "Wild Country Challenge" At Wild Country Disc Golf

Wild Country Disc Golf is a special place. This family owned and run course is the only 18-hole disc golf course in the Kawartha Lakes region where anyone can play, or learn to play disc golf, free of charge. There is always someone on the property to help you get started and a box of discs you can borrow from too. Wild Country Disc Golf is offering its first PDGA sanctioned tournament Saturday, August 31 and Sunday, September 1st. Come out and see what this sport is all about!

Competitors will come to Fenelon Falls from all over Ontario to compete and enjoy the sights and attractions of our amazing village. Many local businesses have sponsored this inaugural event. Bring a lawn chair and come out to watch the fun. If you would like to be involved in the action, we also need volunteers to help make this event run smoothly. Participants and volunteers can register for the "Wild Country Challenge" at www.discgolfscene.com or by contacting the tournament director, Andrea Michaud, at 905-328-8515. The course is located at 1157 Kawartha Lakes County Road 121, just outside of town heading north toward Kinmount.
