Public invited to the Rural Zoning By-law virtual open house on April 11
The Second Draft Rural Zoning By-law, following extensive consultation, is now available for review and comment on the Rural Zoning By-law project on Jump In, Kawartha Lakes. Members of the community are invited to a virtual open house on April 11 at 6pm.
Rural Zoning By-Law Consolidation
As highlighted in the recent news release, three Public Open Houses will be hosted in support of the first draft of the City's new Rural Zoning By-law - these changes will impact waterfront properties! City staff and the project consultant will be presenting an introduction to the draft, highlights on new and updated sections, and collect comments and questions pertaining to the document. These sessions will be held via Zoom from 6:30PM to 8:30PM on Tuesday, March 1, Thursday, March 3, and Wednesday, March 9.
City of Kawartha Lakes Rural Zoning By-Law Review
Kawartha Lakes Planning Division would like to invite all interested parties to register and attend a Virtual Public Open House to provide an update on the Rural Zoning By-law Review. These by-law changes will also impact waterfront properties.
New Rural Zoning By-law Update and Discussion Paper
The Planning Division held public information sessions in the fall of 2019 regarding the consolidation and update for a New Rural Zoning By-law. The sessions and conversations both introduced this Project and started the discussion on what needs to be considered in the development of a New Rural Zoning By-law. We would like your comments and input to help the City as we start to prepare a draft New Rural Zoning By-law over the next several months. Please provide comments by March 15, 2020 to ruralzoningbylaw@kawarthalakes.ca.
