The Grove Theatre and the Fenelon Fall Horticultural Society invite you to a story installation celebration

The Grove Theatre, in partnership with The Fenelon Falls Horticultural Society, is thrilled to announce the upcoming Story Pole Installation Celebration—an enchanting event that aims to foster connections between individuals, their surroundings, and the rich tapestry ofIndigenous culture.

The heart of this celebration lies in the collaborative efforts with esteemed Mississauga Ojibwe carver and painter, R. Kris Nahrgang. The outcome has been the creation of three magnificent story poles to be installed at the amphitheatre. Crafted from locally sourced white cedar trees, these awe-inspiring poles will feature Indigenous carvings and universal symbols. The story poles hold deep symbolism, inviting viewers to contemplate their relationship with their neighbours, the wider world, and the natural environment.

The Story Pole Installation Celebration will take place at The Grove Theatre's Amphitheatre on Wednesday, June 21, at 7:00 P.M, in honour of National Indigenous People's Day. Admission to this event is free, inviting the community to come together for an evening of connection, reflection, and celebration.

Attendees will have the opportunity to experience traditional Ojibwe drumming, immerse themselves in the stunning artwork of Kris Nahrgang, and celebrate the magnificent story poles.

The Grove Theatre and The Horticultural Society invite everyone to join them in this celebration of art, nature, and unity.
