There is probably a good chance you grew up playing with a set of Tinker Toys. The wood circles and sticks are an icon in most Fenelon Falls childhood memories, as Tinker Toys were made right here in the Jewel of the Kawarthas. During the ’50s and ’60s, Allen Wood Products Ltd. operated near the waterfront, creating a variety of wooden toys including bowling, croquet, ring toss and the iconic Tinker Toys.

Since our would-be inaugural Poetry Nights event was cancelled due to thunderstorms and heavy rains, we are very much looking forward to having our first event on Tuesday, August 18th. Spaces are filling up quickly so be sure to email the committee to reserve your spot! Shopping Local is Fantastic!

With the closure of walk-in stores in Fenelon Falls, it takes some creativity to shop local...but we did! And the results are fantastic. The Butterfly Boutique and the Barn and Bunkie offered online shopping and Easter Bags as well as free delivery or arranged pick up. So we gave it a try for our Easter and were impressed by each store’s commitment to customer service. This morning I opened my Easter Bag and online purchases.
