We are privileged to have a strong business community, a variety of health care services, schools, churches, festivals, events, hard-working volunteers and of course beautiful scenery. So it’s no surprise during these unprecedented times that business owners and residents are stepping up to help neighbours and community members. In support of these individual efforts we launched #HeartForFenelon. The goal is to support our businesses, the community and to celebrate kindness. Food Vendors Needed for Kawartha Yarn & Fibre Festival

Kawartha Yarn & Fibre Festival is being held on June 13, 2020 at the Fenelon Falls Community Centre and Arena. With over 1,200 attendees last year we are hoping to expand our snack and lunch options. We are looking to engage a couple of food vendors for our attendees. We are looking for simple options such as sandwiches, sweet treats, tea, coffee, water and pop. We would also love to see some options for those with gluten allergies, if you have them. If this is something you are interested in please contact us at Kawarthayff@gmail.com by April 1, 2020. Please note that interested food vendors must have the appropriate safe food handling certifications and insurance.

Watson's Village Shop Closing: Rhonda is Retiring!
Things are changing on Colborne Street: after 55 years in business here in the downtown of Fenelon Falls, Watson's Village Shop is closing their doors! Rhonda, the shopkeeper and a very friendly face around town has decided to retire. Ahead of the store’s closure, Watson’s Village Shop is currently having a 50% off Retirement Sale and everything must be cleared out. For now, the shop is open Wednesday to Saturday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Merchandise won't last long, so come on in and take home a little piece of Fenelon Falls history from the historic Watson’s Village Shop. Congratulations on your retirement, Rhonda!
