A message from The Kawartha Store

Submitted by The Kawartha Store

This April is sure to be one like I have never experienced in my life. First thing we are hoping for is that everyone out in the world is taking care of themselves and their family. These are definitely different times for all of humankind. Mostly for myself and my family we are able to communicate via our cell phones and using the internet, but for my parents who are not too savvy with technology it is very different. They do have an iPad but using Facetime is a new experience everytime they try to use it - it just doesn't come naturally to them. So I make sure I phone them every other day and we have long good conversations about everything and nothing.

One thing that hasn't changed is that our Spring lines have come in and were delivered before the lockdown. Great colours and refreshing patterns, styles, and cuts. We are able to show you a number of new items that have come into the store. Trish is constantly posting on Facebook and Instagram to keep everyone in the loop. Not everything is online at this time but if you email or chat via Facebook and Instagram to Trish we can definitely help you with your purchases from anything she posts. So, for a little retail therapy you can shop from home at www.thekawarthastore.ca (https://thekawarthastore.getpayd.com/) or call the store 705-887-9888 or message us on Facebook and Instagram: @thekawarthastore, or on Twitter @kawarthastore. You could always send us an email: info@thekawarthastore.ca. We can ship via Canada Post or deliver in the area, or you can do a curbside pick-up.

We do miss everyone immensely and Cooper and Sally don't understand why the door is not opening constantly. Keep your spirits high, laugh a lot, and remember to smile to yourself always. This too will pass and we will be able to connect again in person to share our isolation stories and maybe some new recipes will come from this as well.

Take care, everyone, sending air hugs your way.
