Deadline Extended for The Royal Canadian Legion Fenelon Falls Literary Contest for Seniors

We hope all our seniors in the wider community of Fenelon Falls are coping as well as can be expected during these uncertain times of COVID-19.
When we introduced our second Literary Contest for Seniors earlier in the year, open to those 55 years plus in the community, one could never imagine the circumstances that reflect our “new normal” just a few short months later.
Submissions will be accepted from residents of Fenelon Falls and vicinity.
We have extended the submission deadline to 6:00pm September 25, 2020 and request that entries be submitted electronically to br238seniorsliterary@gmail.com or by Canada Post to Arlene Colman, 68 Kozy Kove Road, Burnt River, Ontario, K0M 1C0. Winners will be announced sometime during October on our Legion website fenelonfallslegion.ca.
If you are not able to submit your entry electronically or by Canada Post please call Arlene at 705-454-1849 to discuss possible alternate arrangements.

This is the perfect project to help fill the endless hours of isolation. You never know you might create a family treasure that will be handed down through generations yet to come. We know there is a lot of talent out there and we offer you an opportunity to showcase your skills and share your experiences, imagination and knowledge. Legion membership is not a requirement.
Flex your creative muscles, let your imagination run free, tickle our funny bone and share your talent.
