"Hay Fever" is coming to Fenelon Falls, and we need your help!

Be on the lookout for a new fall event happening across the community: Hay Fever! With the help of our summer students, the Kawartha Works Community Co-op (KWCC) is excited to announce our upcoming festive Fall event, Hay Fever! You won’t want to miss all these awesome hay bale designs near your favourite businesses this fall. Want to get in on the action? We need design teams to support businesses in their hay sculpture construction!

Hay Fever is a community-building event where groups, employees & co-workers, or families can get together to build hay sculptures in Fenelon Falls to create some festive Fall decor. This COVID-friendly event will enable us to decorate our community for the fall, all while staying safe and social distancing. Are you interested in working on one of these hay sculptures? Contact us!

Teams will begin constructing their hay sculptures on September 18th and the creations will be left for town display until October 14th, the Wednesday after Thanksgiving. Participating businesses will get one large round hay bale, and three smaller rectangular ones. Some businesses require support for designing their hay bales, which is where our wonderful community members come in! For a fee of $50, you can gather a team together to support a local business in designing their hay bale.

The KWCC hopes you can join the community in celebrating the Fall season through our Hay Fever event! Interested in joining, or have questions?

Email us at communications.kwcc@gmail.com.

We can’t wait to see fun festive décor around town this Fall!
