Local Gardener Beautified the Gardens in Front of St. James Anglican Church

Lynne Jackson is a local gardener. It is her hard work and masterful hand that have beautified the gardens in front of St. James Anglican Church on Bond St. E. Walk by and take a look! Her handiwork includes a lime green border spilling over the rock walls and right along the sidewalk, a beautiful, colourful nasturtium border. AND!! Look at this beautiful, colourful salad she served for Thanksgiving dinner.

Yes, nasturtium blossoms are edible.  They taste peppery, like radishes and watercress.  Other edible flowers: include roses, calendula, day lilies, lavender, chive, echinacea, squash bloom, dandelion, pansy, viola and violets. They must all be washed and pesticide free.
