The Audience Was Enthralled!!!
Barbara’s program presented various vignettes of Fenlon Falls’ 150 year history. She played many different characters, evoking many different audience reactions.
A Hallmark Hallowe’en
On October 31 as I meandered in the autumn sunshine down Oak Street towards the Maryboro Lodge Museum I thought “OMG!! This is a Hallmark moment!”

Anglican Church Bells Will Ring for Duke of Edinburgh
Bells will ring from St James Church at 10 am on Saturday, in conjunction with the funeral service for the late Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip.
Santa Day - An Invitation to a Traditional Christmas.
At St. James we will be telling the story of the traditional St. Nicholas (the original Santa Claus. In keeping with that tradition we will be giving out (chocolate) gold coins. Also at St. James, in the church itself, is featured a large Nativity Scene, that measures 36 square feet.
St James Anglican Church Morning Coffee
St James Anglican Church Morning Coffee in The Community Garden beside the Church. On going throughout the summer. Starting THIS Saturday July 8, 9 am to 10:30 am. All are welcome! Dogs, squirrels, kids, friends and neighbours. Come for Fellowship.
St James Anglican Fashion Show SOLD OUT!
St. James Anglican Church’s Fashion show was held on Mothers Day, Saturday May 13, and was sold out two weeks before the show date. It had been advertised using a picture of a mature model. Obviously that was a big selling feature! Fifty-seven guests attended and six mature models of various sizes walked down the runway, showing off twenty four outfits.
Proud Announcement from St James Anglican Church
St. James Anglican Church, Fenelon Falls and the Digital Museums Canada are proud to announce the completion of a joint project. St. James received a grant to tell the story of Anne Langton and her part in the history of St. James the Apostle Anglican Church. The exhibition is now streaming on the Digital Museums Canada website.
Feast of St James
This Sunday, July 31, the regular 11 am service will not be held at the 7 Bond St. E. location. Instead, we will be celebrating the Feast of St. James at the site of our original church, at the dead end (no pun intended) of Head St, now the site of an historical graveyard.
Local Gardener Beautified the Gardens in Front of St. James Anglican Church
Lynne Jackson is a local gardener. It is her hard work and masterful hand that have beautified the gardens in front of St. James Anglican Church on Bond St. E. Walk by and take a look! Her handiwork includes a lime green border spilling over the rock walls and right along the sidewalk, a beautiful, colourful nasturtium border. AND!! Look at this beautiful, colourful salad she served for Thanksgiving dinner.

St. James Anglican Church and the Parish of Fenelon Falls and Coboconk are very pleased to welcome the Rev. Alvardo Adderley and his family to Fenelon Falls, to serve two congregations, including Christ Church in Coboconk.
St James Church Garden Collaborates on Food Bank Youth Project
St. James Anglican Church is excited to embark on a collaborative project with the Fenelon Falls Horticultural Society to grow fresh produce in the Community Garden for the Food Bank. The church donated 7 raised beds in the Community Garden to be tended by dedicated youth from Langton Public School and Fenelon Falls Secondary School. Church members also volunteered time and donated plants to get things started.

We are so pleased to announce that the Fenelon Falls Horticultural Society's (FFHS) program with local youth has been awarded a $500 grant from Commonwell Mutual Insurance Group’s SeedIt Program! The FFHS and youth from Langton P.S. and Fenelon Falls S.S. were busy planting seeds in early spring and now have their food plants in the ground for all our local food banks.
