Pink WRCrawlers Raise Over $100,000.00 towards Breast Cancer Research

On Sunday October 3, we hit the streets of the village of Rosedale to do our annual walk.  This year the official ceremonies were virtual, as the regular events were cancelled to keep everyone safe.

This was our 17th year to take part in this event and our Team of 10 fun ladies and friends completed our walk to the finish line, just as the rain drops began to fall.

To date, we have raised over $117,000.00 and were able to win the Women's Team Challenge Award again this year.

Most importantly, I, the Team Captain, reached my personal goal of raising over $2,500.00, so that I can direct that amount to metastatic breast cancer research.

Words cannot express our sincere appreciation for all of the folks in the Fenelon Falls community who were kind enough to donate to our Team.

Also special thanks go out to the citizens of Rosedale, who came out and cheered us on that morning.

Thank you, one and all.

Patricia Goode Zahorec

Proud Team Captain of the Pink WRCrawlers
