2021 Canada Day Celebration Cancelled in Fenelon Falls

Councillor Doug Elmslie, Canada Day Committee Chair, advises that current COVID-19 restrictions have resulted in the cancellation of Canada Day in the village again this year. Outdoor gathering limitations simply won’t accommodate the numbers of attendees.

On a brighter note with increased vaccinations restrictions are slowly and carefully being eased up.  However hosting large events such as Canada Day are still not attainable.

Celebrating Canada Day has been a meaningful tradition in the Village and we encourage all residents to celebrate Canada’s 154th birthday at home in a safe environment.
