Canada Day Committee Seeking Donations
Fenelon Falls is known for celebrating Canada Day in a big way; with activities at the beach park, live music, shopping, dining and fireworks over Cameron Lake.
Call to Artisans and Energy Workers!
Canada Day Celebrations are offering vendor space to our local Artists & Artisans. We want to fill Water Street with the incredible talent found in and around Fenelon Falls. Painters, wood workers, sculptors, authors, potters etc. are offered space to set up, promote & sell their work. Space is available for natural wellness practitioners, psychics, tarot readers, healers, etc.
2021 Canada Day Celebration Cancelled in Fenelon Falls
Councillor Doug Elmslie, Canada Day Committee Chair, advises that current COVID-19 restrictions have resulted in the cancellation of Canada Day in the village again this year. Outdoor gathering limitations simply won’t accommodate the numbers of attendees.
Celebrate Canada Day the 2020 Way
Submitted by City of Kawartha Lakes
Although our traditional Canada Day plans are cancelled this year, that does not mean we cannot still celebrate all things Canada. From social circle barbecues to patriotic lawn décor, join in on the fun by sharing with us how you are celebrating Canada Day the 2020 way. You could be featured in a Canada Day video compilation the municipality is putting together. Throughout the week, show us how you plan to celebrate Canada Day and take part in the three ways to show how we are all #KawarthaLakesStrong.
2020 Canada Day Celebration Cancelled in Fenelon Falls
Councillor Doug Elmslie, Canada Day Committee Chair, advises that the current COVID-19 crisis had forced the cancellation of Canada Day in the village this year. There was simply no way that we could organize an event that would protect the health and safety of participants, volunteers and comply with current virus restrictions. These safeguards were a priority in keeping the community safe.
