And the Award Goes to ….

The City of Kawartha Lakes has awarded the Fenelon Falls Curling Club, the Jump In,  Accessibility Award, for Outstanding Contribution by a Community Group. Our President, Marc Lemieux, attended a virtual meeting of the City of Kawartha Lakes City Council today, and graciously accepted this award on our behalf.

This award is a result of our members stepping forward to volunteer at Sobeys during the first wave of the Pandemic in 2020.  Volunteers provided front door traffic control, as well as delivering groceries to those who needed this service.  We would like to thank Mark Knoester from Sobeys, Fenelon Falls for nominating us for this award.

Thank you to all our members who were able to volunteer when your community needed it most!
