Community input needed for Kawartha Lakes' Active Transportation Master Plan

We are encouraging people to read through the plan and participate on the Jump-In page as many of the ideas impact Fenelon Falls, and we’d like our community to add their input.

Kawartha Lakes is excited to announce that we are launching our Round 1 of community engagement for the municipality-wide Active Transportation Master Plan (ATMP) project. The ATMP will aim to provide residents, visitors and those who work within the municipality with safe, equitable and comfortable alternative modes of transportation.

There are a range of activities on the Jump-In page where you can join the conversation and have your say! We encourage the community to participate in the ATMP project by filling out the surveys, viewing the map and reading the documents tab. Community contributions will go a long way in making the ATMP beneficial to the people of Kawartha Lakes.

“This project has been a long time coming and something the community has expressed a great deal of interest in. This round of engagement will help us further identify the unique active transportation-related opportunities and challenges that exist and build out community priorities,” says Jonathan Derworiz, ATMP Project Lead at Kawartha Lakes.
