Donation of over $3,500 to the new Fenelon Falls Youth Centre

There’s been an amazing donation made recently for the new Fenelon Falls BGC Kawarthas location, The Loft. The Loft currently runs an after-school program for youth at their location on 30 Colborne St.

The Butterfly Boutique started a new monthly event called Thankful Thursday, where on the last Thursday of the month, 20% of sales for that day go towards a local charity of their choice, and for May’s event, they chose The Loft. Not only that, the Butterfly Boutique, as well as BES 57, hosted a fashion show at Ziraldo’s on the same day, May 28, and that event also raised money for the organization.

The fashion show raised $3,079 (as shown on the cheque in the picture below), and Thankful Thursday raised $500, bringing the total to $3,579.
